Celebrating 35 Years

Huki received sight-saving surgery at an outreach clinic in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea.

For more than 115 years around the world, and for 35 years in New Zealand, cbm has been working alongside people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places.

Many of the struggles people with disabilities face are avoidable. Sometimes, that means medical intervention. But often it means practical support. It also means removing barriers – and not creating them in the first place.

We are honoured to have you with us as our partners deliver life-changing assistance to people with disabilities overseas. We make sure they are included in the day-to-day life of their communities.

In our increasingly polarised world, we are reminded of Jesus’ statement that He would draw all people to Him. Ours is an inclusive human story, open to all, including adults and children who would otherwise be left behind. For so many people, not only are you helping to address their disability, you are laying down a welcome mat. You are helping move from exclusion to inclusion, and from inclusion to belonging.

Thank you for being part of our life-changing mission.
